To respond to the call of the nation,inherit the great beauty of traditional Chinese culture and promote the charm of classic calligraphy,Great Aim Group built the Cultural Corridor at Great Aim Central City in Shenzhen to enable the public to experience the charm of traditional Chinese culture in a more convenient manner.

The long-standing and well-established traditional Chinese culture is being tested by the rapid development of technology and more frequent exchange of ideas in modern society.To respond to the call of cultural construction from the government and under the influence of the corporate culture of Great Aim Group,a cultural corridor with the original style of classic traditional Chinese culture has been built.Locating at Great Aim Central City in Shenzhen,this corridor was open to the public on Oct.1 and held the 1st Chinese Calligraphy Entering Hundreds of Thousands of Homes Activity.Around 20 calligraphers from Chinese Calligraphers Association were invited to showcase the traditional Chinese art of calligraphy in Great Aim Central City.

The reason that traditional Chinese culture is so enduring is because of those families that inherit it and pass it on.These“small families”have influenced all of us as a“big family”in aspect of promoting traditional Chinese culture.The Cultural Corridor locates within the residential area and thus can exert a subtle influence on the cultural value of adults and juveniles who live around.Zhuge Liang once said in his writing of Advice to My Son,“To develop true aspiration,one needs to desire for nothing first;to achieve greatness,one needs to keep a tranquilized mind first.”A plainly built cultural zone among the noisy residential areas is more beneficial for the appreciation and learning of residents living around.Therefore,cultural corridor is not only the medium of traditional Chinese culture but the nutrient medium for the heritage and promotion of the excellent traditional Chinese culture.

Consisting of the bottom empty space of 5 residential buildings,the Cultural Corridor of Great Aim Central City in Shenzhen is divided by different ancient Chinese ideologists,including the five areas of Lao Zi Version,Confucius Version,Menci Version,Zhuang Zhou Version and Mencius Version.Each area includes the introduction to the corresponding ideology,for instance,the Tao and Morality represented by Zhuang Zhou and the Ren,Yi,Li and Zhi represented by Menci.
Comparing to the large world,the Cultural Corridor is just a small place,but the cultural strength it contains is much more than its area.The works in the corridor not only promote the beauty of calligraphy but integrate the essence of Taoism and Confucianism.Taking the word“Xin”as an example,it is a simple word but contains great spiritual power–integrity,honesty and trust.Most of these works are short but strong in content,reader-friendly and easy to understand.Children can be exposed to the excellent traditional Chinese culture in such a simple way and grow under the influence of traditional Chinese culture.As an exemplary building,the Cultural Corridor serves as a guide that will lead more people to the understanding and learning of traditional Chinese culture.
The Cultural Corridor let the excellent traditional Chinese culture be more close to the daily life of ordinary people and enables the traditional culture to be inherited family by family and last forever.
