 On November 15, Zhuhai Hengqin Great Aim Optical Communication Technology Co., Ltd. stood out from the first IASIC and took the third place for its project "Application of LED indoor positioning technology in supermarket's smart shopping carts" among 269 entries from home and abroad.

 Under the guide and with the support of Torch High Technology Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Science & Technology, Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission, Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong, the first IASIC was hosted by CASA and CSA, with an aim to better stimulate the internal vitality of innovation and accelerate the commercialization of technical innovation. The event received a total of 269 entries from home and abroad involving fields such as semi-conductor lighting, optical electronics, power electronics and microwave and radio frequency, specifically covering several cutting-edge core technologies such as sensor, LIFI technology, OLED display and 5G, among which a total of 108 high-tech projects have passed the preliminary review and with independent intellectual property rights.

In the future, it will find extensive applications in the field of smart shopping in supermarkets and enable Great Aim to make a breakthrough in the large-scale, commercial operation and promotion of optical communication technology. At present, as the key to "solve the final kilometer for map navigation", indoor positioning has caught the attention from many a capital giant. A strategic deployment has been made in indoor positioning by foreign companies such as IBM, Philips and Cisco and Chinese companies such as Baidu, Tencent and Alibaba.
