Violent typhoon Hato has brought different damage to our city’s roads and greening,which has not only influenced our normal traffic order but had adverse effect on our city’s post-disaster production recovery work.This afternoon,caring enterprise Great Aim Group donated 10 million yuan to the Red Cross Society of Zhuhai for clearing traffic barriers and repairing damaged roads.
Yan Wu,Deputy Mayor of Zhuhai was present at the donation activity and issued the certificates of honor to the representatives of caring enterprises.
Yang Feng,Chairman of Great Aim Group,expressed that“Typhoon is so evil that the dangerous circumstances worry all of us.Although Great Aim Group is a private enterprise,we can’t forget our social responsibility.Zhuhai is a beautiful city,which has witnessed our enterprise’s growth.In the process of Great Aim’s growth,Zhuhai has endowed us with lots of memories and we all have fallen in deep love with this beautiful city,”Yang Feng said.
“In the process of fighting the violent typhoon Hato,through media’s report,I fully felt Zhuhai people’s confidence and determination to carry out disaster relief and production recovery with united efforts under the leadership of Zhuhai Municipal Party Committee and Zhuhai Municipal People’s Government and I saw many inspiring deeds and stories of municipal workers,public security officers and volunteers working in the frontline of disaster relief.I hope we can try our best to help Zhuhai people recover smooth traffic as early as possible,”Yang Feng expressed.It is known that Great Aim Group’s donation is specifically for the city-wide municipal road clearing and maintenance and traffic barrier clearing after the typhoon attack and it is the timeliest donation of the largest amount that the Red Cross Society of Zhuhai received after the violent typhoon Hato landed in Zhuhai.
“We will give timely feedback on the use of the donation in accordance with relevant regulations.If some caring enterprises and individuals would like to make a donation,please contact our Disaster Relief Department or General Accounting Department.We will use the donations for specific projects according to donator’s will,”said Xiao Shiming,Secretary of the Leading Party Members’Group of the Red Cross Society of Zhuhai.
